The classroom is a learning community in which each student and the teacher are responsible for behaviors, assignments, and much more! Below you will find some documents that cover the expectations of this year within our classroom.

Assignments-Completed Work-Homework
All assignments are the students' responsibilities to complete in class. If they do not finish in class, they are considered "HOMEWORK" to finish as home. Assignments are graded based on the following standards:
1- Exceeding Expectations
2- Meets Expectations
3- Partially Proficient
4- Not Proficient (Needs extra time and assistance)

Weekly Agenda Page and the Home School Folder
Our students are LEADERS! All leaders take responsibility of their actions. We will have a weekly agenda page for students to fill out daily in regards to work assigned and behaviors for the day. We will be using our blue HOME/SCHOOL folders to help keep everything in its right place! Students will keep weekly agenda in this folder as well. You can see a sample below:
Data Binders
Data Binders are an important part of our classroom this year. Our binders or Leadership Notebooks will be utilized by the teacher and students to create goals, to track progress, and to celebrate achievements. We want our students to be Proactive and to Begin with the End in Mind!

iPad Contract
This year the students will have access to 10 iPads daily in our classroom. These are provided by a grant and are necessary for years to come! In order to make sure each child and family understands the iPad procedures, there is a contract to fill out. The contract is available below:
